LUTHERAN URBAN MINISTRY:
Save the Date!!
2025 Going the Distance for the Urban
Hi everyone,
Please save the date for our annual fundraiser "Going the Distance for the Urban" on Saturday, September 20th (rain date will be October 4th). I'll have the CanadaHelps event website live on May 15th - so that team captains can register their teams to be all set to go for participant signups.
The bike ride will be setting off again from Abundant Life to Birds Hill Park (led by the intrepid Kim Scherger) and the walkers will have a choice of routes (straight down the paved path (short walk or long) and back. or walking to the walking path by the old gravel pits in Birds Hill). Followed by a lovely bbq lunch (back at Abundant Life), and inter-congregational fellowship.
We're really hoping for more teams and participants this year!
CanadaHelps Going the Distance for the Urban website, poster, etc. to come!
