Blessings Everyone! Fall is here and with it brings the beginning of another Sunday school year. Welcome back! The Sunday school staff would like to extend a warm welcome to our new families this year. We know you will enjoy our Sunday school program and our church. I would like to introduce our Sunday school staff for 2010/2011: Joanne & assistant , teaching our Lower Level; Betty  & assistant, teaching our Middle Level (1-3), Diane and Ingrid, teaching our Upper Level (4-6) and Val as our Superintendent.   We are richly blessed to have a very committed staff that has many years experience teaching the word of God to our children. We have many students who have moved onto Confirmation classes and we welcome you downstairs to assist the Sunday school staff as needed. We also welcome anyone interested in joining our Sunday School Staff or any children who have not yet registered.  

 

Sunday school will begin after the Children’s Message at which time all children will be asked to go downstairs. Our Sunday school will begin with the offering (please put your name on your assigned envelope along with corresponding family church number) and an opening lesson prepared by the Superintendent followed by a prayer. The children will go to their Sunday school classes.   The teachers have prepared fun, interesting lessons for your children each week for our children to learn.   Children will remain in their classrooms till the service is over.   At the end of the church service, please come downstairs to meet your children. Thank you.

Sunday – October 3rd : “Welcome to Sunday School!” Intro class.

Sunday – October 10th: “Thanksgiving Weekend” There will be no Sunday School. We wish you and yours a very safe and happy thanksgiving. See you next week!

Sunday – October 24th: Sunday School Classes at 10:30 am, then Wiener & Marshmallow Roast and Hayride at Bird's Hill Park Ranch -- Meet in the parking lot at Bird's Hill at 12:30 pm sharp.  You must register with Val if you are coming!

Sunday – October 31^st : Regular Sunday School Classes

 

One of our Sunday school staff’s missions is to host a monthly family event for the church.

We are planning an outing on October 24th. We will leave the church and arrive at the site for lunch (approx. 1pm ) and fellowship and continue our fellowship with the hay ride. I will also be handing out registration forms and information on October 17th.  Check your calendars! Come out and join the fun and make new friends!
